As part of this year’s Oxford Science and Ideas Festival, Paul Kilsby’s exhibition The Pensive Image will run from 2nd to 19th October 2024. The opening ceremony is on 1st October from 6 to 8 PM at The North Wall Arts Centre. The exhibition will be on for 17 days, with exciting talks and a fun family event planned.
Paul Kilsby – In Conversation with James Attlee about “The Pensive Image”

Paul Kilsby will talk with James Attlee, an author and Fellow of St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Paul’s images explore how art and science are connected. James, a well-known writer, combines travel, history, and art in his work. His latest book, Under the Rainbow: Voices from Lockdown, was published in May 2021.
The Pensive Image: Workshop with Paul Kilsby

Join this free family workshop to play with shapes and math to create your own art! You can make fun designs like a Fibonacci spiral or a Moebius strip using simple math ideas. It’s a creative way to explore art and science together.
